About Loadout Audio
A squad, not a lab: streamers who got tired of audio guides written by people who’ve never alt-tabbed mid-queue to fix a gate threshold.
The three rules every page follows
Free first. This category’s best tools cost $0, and a site that pretends otherwise is farming you. When free covers the job — which is most jobs — the guide says so and ends. Exactly one page on this site sells anything, and it opens by telling most readers to leave.
Frames counted, never invented. We don’t publish FPS-cost benchmarks, because we don’t have your rig. Every GPU-touching guide ships the 60-second measure-it-yourself protocol instead — your overlay outranks every forum post, including ours.
Paths verified. Every settings chip was walked against vendor docs on the build date stamped on the page (current: BUILD 2026.07.30). Menus drift; when a chip stops matching your screen, tell us — {CONTACT_EMAIL_S5} — and the page gets re-verified and re-stamped.
Who writes it
The byline is the squad because that’s the truth: a small crew that streams, breaks its own audio chains regularly, and writes down the fixes. No invented audio-engineer character, no fake credentials — the receipts are that the chips work when you press them.
The servers aren’t free
Affiliate links pay for them. They’re marked, they’re few, and they never decide a loadout — the full policy, including which single vendor currently pays us, is on the legal page.
