Legal: privacy, terms and the sponsor line

The whole page in one breath: we collect almost nothing, the guides are documentation not warranties, and affiliate links pay for the servers without picking the loadouts.

Privacy

No accounts, no comments, no newsletter ambush. One analytics property (GA4) counts visits and tells us which guides get used; block it — half our readers do — and nothing breaks. Email us and the address is used for the reply, then benched.

Terms

Guides describe menus, requirements and prices as verified on the stamped build date (current: 2026.07.30). Vendors patch menus without notes; where a chip and your screen disagree, your screen wins and we owe the re-verify. Nothing here warrants that a filter suits your rig — that’s what the free tiers and the 60-second benchmark are for, and it’s why we push both so hard. Quote with a link; wholesale reprints are a different game mode.

The sponsor line, itemized

Affiliate links pay for the servers. They’re marked, they’re few, and they never decide a loadout. The receipts: Krisp — affiliate (Impact network), routed via /go/krisp/, appearing on exactly two pages, both marked. NVIDIA, OBS, Discord, SteelSeries, Audacity — pay us nothing, get recommended constantly, which is the whole free-first doctrine working as intended. If a marked box ever contradicts the free-first rule, call it: {CONTACT_EMAIL_S5}.
